How to join The AGBC(S.E.)
The churches already in the Association of Grace Baptist Churches(South East) welcome new member churches.
The churches already in the Association accept new members by voting for them at the Annual Meetings.
Any church within the AGBC(SE) geographical area which accepts the Doctrinal Basis and the Constitution may apply to join by
writing to the General Secretary.
After meeting the church officers, he will inform the relevant District Secretary to allow the candidate church to become involved with the nearby associated churches.
At the Annual Meetings, the District is then able to recommend the church for membership.
The association is a free one, in that churches may leave if they so desire.
The gathered churches may expel from the Association churches that no longer accept the Doctrinal Basis, or who persistently cause offence to the other churches.
Such events are rare, and are only carried out after attempts to remedy the situation.
